Next Meeting

Hey guys, I need to know who all would be interested in meeting April 7th for 'slaves no more'. The guys who are on the leadership team for Chi Alpha will be gone on a retreat for that day. I thought we might play football or ultimate frisbee on the mall and then go get something to eat. Let me know if you are going and what we should do by leaving a comment! (Just click on the link at the bottom...it's really not that hard and doesn't take long at all.)

Posting again!

Alright guys, I have finally attained some rest and so I am going to start posting on the blog again. However, if you do not start putting up some comments I will not continue posting. I need to know that you guys want the blog. So, comment!

I hope everyone had a great Spring Break! I miss all of you guys and can't wait until our next meeting. Chi Alpha small group is tonight at the XA house, 611 Oak Street, for those of you who want to come. We would enjoy your presence and input.

I want to encourage all of you to keep striving for purity. I know it's tough but don't let that discourage you. Here are some of the verses that we discussed at the last meeting:

1 Corinthians 6.18-20 -We are not our own but God's.
2 Corinthians 10.5 -Take captive every thought.
Job 31.1 -A covenant with our eyes.

Write these (and more) on your hearts and stay focused. Keep in contact with your accountability partners! That is very important. Make time each week to meet with each other, and call them at least two to three times a week.

Friday, March 3rd, is here!

Hey Guys! Well, our next meeting is finally here! It's hard to believe that a month has gone bye since our last meeting but this one is going to be awesome. This Friday, March 3rd, Slaves No More will be meeting at Chris Lineberger's house @ 2pm. From there we will be driving to Raleigh and eating at O'Charlie's, then we will be going to a Carolina Hurricanes hockey game! The actual meeting will take place at Brad's parents' house. I hope you guys are as excited about this as I am. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys and hearing about the progress you've made. For those of you who are not able to come please be in prayer for the group, and we will miss you. Stay Strong!

Love you guys,
